Only Love.

As I get older, I find one thing to be certain - struggle and suffering are inevitable, but not insurmountable.

I have friends fighting battles I cannot even fathom, even as I fumble through my own. Love - raw and righteous - should be our one weapon. Survival of the fittest may work in the Darwinian sense, but in everyday existence, we need to fight for one another to be whole.

Be kind to your fellow fighters, even those who don’t seem to be at arms. Sometimes, they are the ones who need it most.

“Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:12-13
